Diversity in didactics and education

Children, youth and science in Denmark
In Children, youth and science, we support projects that focus on developing methods and approaches for a more inclusive and gender-sensitive didactics. The aim is to ensure that all students, regardless of gender and background, experience science and technology as relevant in their everyday lives and as a potential future.

The programme explores whether and how a more gender-conscious didactics can enhance student motivation for science and technology, as well as unconventional educational choices. The goal is for example to encourage more girls to choose science and a technical education and more ethnic minority youth to choose vocational training.
