Change in leadership at Villum Foundation

The Director of the Villum Foundation, Lars Hansen, will step down in the summer of 2024 after ten years in the position.

Chairman of the Board of the Villum Foundation, Jens Kann-Rasmussen, states: "Lars has been a respected, skilled, and well-liked leader among the foundation's employees and has achieved significant results as the spearhead of the foundation over the past ten years. The board extends a heartfelt thank you to Lars for his dedicated efforts over the years."

Lars Hansen says: "It has been 10 exciting years at the Villum Foundation, and I would like to express my sincere thanks to the board and my colleagues for their trust and cooperation. We have accomplished a lot together, and there are solid plans in place. Now, I look forward to trying something new."

The board has commenced the process of finding the next director and expects to have someone in place by the summer to ensure a smooth handover of responsibilities to the new director.
