Evaluation and analysis

Children, Youth and Science in Denmark
We prioritise the evaluation and development of shared knowledge so we all become more knowledgeable about how best to strengthen the science capital in children and young people.

Providing society and the stakeholders in the field with a solid knowledge base for decisions that aim to motivate children and young people for science is, in itself, a value-creating activity. It is important for the Villum Foundation to gain insight into whether the goals of the grant area are being achieved and which activities contribute to achieving the objectives of the strategy.

Focus:

  • Development of robust data that enables the tracking of the development of children and young people's science capital and their motivation and interest in science and technology.
  • Thorough evaluation of all ongoing activities.
  • General knowledge development and exchange in the field.
