Enabling young people in Europe to become frontrunners in the green transition
European Vocational Education and Training Initiative (EVI) aims to advance vocational education and training in European societies undergoing the green transition.
By green transition, we understand a systemic transformation towards sustainability across all sectors of society. This transition creates a growing need for adapted competences to respond to changing labour market demands across Europe and requires us to rethink how we approach jobs, skills and education.
The programme supports projects that align green skills development in the education sector with national labour market needs by preparing students for green jobs that support environmental sustainability and reduce environmental impact.
In odd years, we fund projects in Poland, Czechia, Slovakia and Hungary, while in even years, funding is available for projects in France and Italy.
