Responsible investments.

Social responsibility

Our investments should be responsible. It is important to us as we believe that responsible investments can help achieve global goals for sustainable development and address various other societal challenges.

We categorise our investments on a scale that reflects the degree of social responsibility – see the figure below.

We aim to move as many investments as possible to the right on the scale, always considering the overall goal of achieving the highest possible returns.

Twice a year, we screen our shares and corporate bonds for compliance with the UN’s principles of good corporate governance (Global Compact), and we engage in a dialogue with companies that violate these guidelines.

Tax code

Tax revenues constitute a significant part of a well-functioning society, so this is a high-priority area for us. Along with several other Danish foundations, we have adopted a common tax code developed by some of Denmark’s largest pension funds.

The foundations adhere to the common tax code of the pension sector.

The foundations’ Net-Zero strategy.

In 2021, the foundations adopted a Net-Zero strategy for the financial investments of the foundations. The strategy includes binding goals in three areas, to be achieved by the end of 2025.
