Change in VILLUM FONDEN's board of directors
At VILLUM FONDEN's annual board meeting on 20 March 2023, Steen Riisgaard resigned after ten years as a member and Vice-chair. The foundation's statutes stipulate a maximum term of office of ten years, and thus Steen Riisgaard can't be re-elected. Connie Hedegaard takes over the vacant seat.
At the annual meeting, VILLUM FONDEN's new board was constituted as follows:
- Jens Kann-Rasmussen (Chair)
- Eva Zeuthen Bentsen (VIce-chair)
- Anja Boisen
- Christian S. Jensen
- Jørgen Tang-Jensen
- Connie Hedegaard
VILLUM FONDEN continuously allocates funds to KR Foundation, in which Connie Hedegaard will continue as Chair until 2024. Subsequently, in accordance with KR Foundation's articles of association, she can't be re-elected.
As long as Connie Hedegaard has a role in KR Foundation, she will not be able to participate in VILLUM FONDEN's processing of applications from KR Foundation, cf. VILLUM FONDEN's rules for legal capacity.
