New member of the board of VILLUM FONDEN

Former CEO of VELUX A/S, Jørgen Tang-Jensen, has joined VILLUM FONDEN’s board of directors. Jørgen Tang-Jensen was employed in the VKR Group from 1981 to 2017, including in a position as CEO in 2001 to 2017. He subsequently joined the board of VKR Holding A/S in the spring of 2018.

Jørgen Tang-Jensen replaces former CEO of VELUX A/S Bjarne Graabæk Thomsen, who resigns from the board of VILLUM FONDEN in accordance with the terms and conditions of the trust deed after 10 years of service. 

Chair of the board of VILLUM FONDEN, Jens Kann-Rasmussen says:

In addition to the seat on the board of directors in VKR Holding A/S and now on the board of VILLUM FONDEN, Jørgen Tang-Jensen is also board member of among other things Coloplast A/S, Rockwool, Maj Invest Holding A/S and chair of Denmark's Green Investment Fund.
