Inauguration of Dansk Gigthospital

The Danish Rheumatism Association's hospital in Gråsten has moved to new, beautiful and state-of-the-art surroundings next to the local hospital of Sønderborg, situated in the Southern part of Denmark.
On this occasion, the hospital changes its name from King Christian X's Gigthospital to Dansk Gigthospital.
Dansk Gigthospital isthe Danish hospital for patients with rheumatoid arthritis.
Protector of The Danish Rheumatism Association, H M The Queen Margrethe inaugurated the new facilities.
VILLUM FONDEN has funded the establishment of the new hospital with DKK 50 million. The hospital has received additional funding from A.P. Møller Fonden, Knud Højgaards Fond, Augustinus Fonden, Fabrikant Mads Clausens Fond and Lemvigh-Müller Fonden.
