Key question: Is it possible to grow virus free lactic acid bacteria for dairy food products using piezoelectric membrane reactors?

Key result: Development of novel piezoelectric membrane reactor concept for the sustainable green production of robust lactic acid bacteria for dairy food processing.

Key impact: Implementation of this novel concept will revolutionize the fermentation technology in sustainable dairy food processing and reduce the wastage in milk fermentation significantly (10% of 400 million tons) facilitating the cost-efficient production of high quality dairy food products.
