Actions against sensory loss and dental diseases

People aged 50+ with sensory loss should maintain dignified lives, being active and included in society as a whole.

Sensory loss and dental diseases diminish people’s quality of life and impact their ability to live active lives. There is a need to focus broadly on sensory loss, especially impaired vision and hearing, as these two often coincide. The aim is to support people age 50+ with sensory loss to maintain an active life, and is included in their local communities and society. This aim is supported by bringing together relevant stakeholders and creating knowledge on barriers to leading a meaningful life with sensory loss.
