New member of the board of VELUX FONDEN

Journalist Lykke Ogstrup Lunde (b. 1975) specialises in the financial sector with focus on asset management, sustainable investments and 'impact investments'.

She has a BA in journalism from the University of Southern Denmark in 2004. Since then she has been writing for AMWatch and FinansWatch. In addition, she has many years of experience from TV and radio as a reporter and has been working for DR, TV2, TV2 Finans, Dagbladet Børsen, Radio 24-7 and Berlingske. Today, she is working as a freelance journalist and moderator. Furthermore, Lykke has been a board member of VELUX STIFTUNG in Switzerland since 2009 and chair of the board of the same foundation since 2017.

Lykke also has a BA in Hospitality and Tourism Management from the University of Wales and speaks English, German and French.

Lykke Ogstrup Lunde is granddaughter of Villum Kann Rasmussen, the founder of both VELUX FONDEN and VELUX STIFTUNG.

"I am looking forward to representing my family's values and use my experience with dissemination combined with the insight I gained from working in foundations through my 15 years (observer in 2015) in our Swiss sister foundation," says Lykke.

And the feeling is mutual: "We are looking forward to benefiting from Lykke's large commitment and her ability to draw lines between the major challenges of society and the opportunities the foundation has to provide grants for the common good", says chair Hans Kann Rasmussen.

Astrid Kann-Rasmussen resigned from the Board of Directors of VELUX FONDEN at the 2020 Annual Meeting. She has been a member of VELUX FONDEN since 2019 and an observer on the board of VILLUM FONDEN from 2012 to 2018.

Astrid, however, continues as a member of VELUX FONDEN’s Working Group for Environment, as well as her international climate work through our two associated foundations; the KR Foundation and the V. Kann Rasmussen Foundation (USA), where she holds the positions as respectively Vice-Chair and Chair of the Board.
